Central Florida Ferns and Foliage, Founded in 1990, Ray and Kathy Roberts established Central Florida Ferns & Foliage in Zellwood, Florida. With most of the indoor foliage being grown in this area of the state, Ray soon found his niche in growing assorted ferns with unique and wide varieties. Since then Central Florida Ferns & Foliage has expanded from assorted ferns to other interesting tropical foliage that has enhanced their product line.

Natorp’s roots trace back to 1916, when William A. Natorp arrived from Germany, fell in love with Cincinnati, and launched a small landscape design service that quickly earned a loyal following. Unable to find the plant quality he wanted, he began growing his own—planting the foundation of Natorp’s Nursery. Four generations later, that seed has grown into a 333-acre nursery, an award-winning landscape design firm, a retail destination, and Natorp’s Nursery Online. Known for exceptional plants, meticulous design, and a century-long commitment to excellence, Natorp’s continues to thrive under the leadership of siblings Kyle and Craig Natorp, carrying forward their family legacy and cultivating a community of passionate gardeners across Cincinnati.

Civano Growers is family-owned grower and destination garden center rooted deeply in the Tucson community. What started as a small family operation in 1999 has grown into a multi-generational business known for quality plants, a welcoming atmosphere, and a true passion for growing. Most of the plants they offer come directly from their 70-acre Civano Growers farm, where they produce regionally loved favorites and their own Civano Select line. 

Rohrer Seeds is a fourth-generation, family-owned business in Lancaster County, PA, supplying high-quality seeds since 1919 for gardens, lawns, farms, and wildlife through their website, mail-order catalog, and retail store. They also wholesale to garden centers, greenhouses, hardware stores, farm seed dealers, and other resellers, offering not only seeds but a wide range of tools, soils, fertilizers, gloves, mulches, and more. In addition, they serve landscape professionals with turf mixes, hydro-seeding mulch, straw matting, fertilizers, and custom seed blending tailored to specific project needs.

Chestnut Hill Nursery, They specialize in trees and shrubs tailored for edible landscapes and habitat-enhancement. Their flagship product is the Dunstan Chestnut — a hybrid chestnut developed to resist blight while offering large nuts and strong growth.Beyond chestnuts, they offer a broad range of fruit trees and berry plants (such as persimmon, pear, apple, plums, grapes, mulberries and blackberries) and they also carry oak trees and other species beneficial to pollinators and wildlife.

Michael’s Nursery began in 1984 as a small backyard operation and has grown into a large-scale wholesale-retail plant nursery. With two 15-acre sites located in central Louisiana, they’re able to cultivate the “vast majority” of their stock on-site, which enables them to keep better control of quality and value.They serve both retail consumers and landscape professionals nationwide, offering an extensive selection of live plants at wholesale prices. Their product line includes perennials, shrubs, flower bulbs, seeds, and more.

Our story begins in the early 2000s, when our family built a local garden centre from the ground up in Barrie, Ontario. Over the years, we became deeply connected with our community by adding a personal touch to the shopping experience and truly listening to our customers, building lasting relationships rooted in trust, quality, and care. 

Through those conversations, we learned what mattered most to gardeners: access to fresh, healthy plants, thoughtful selection, and a shopping experience that felt personal and reliable. Those insights inspired the next chapter of our journey, the creation of Landscape Direct.
